How Do I Fit?

           How do I fit? I think I will fit pretty fine in the area of study that I want to pursue; Forensic Accounting. I feel I will fit perfect in this area because it’s me. Me in a sense, it has a little bit of both the forensic side and the financial side. I guess you can say the “best of both worlds.”

Forensic Accounting deals with basically fraud. It’s a little more than just accounting. More like thinking outside the box for accountants. It looks beyond just numbers to grasp substances of many situations. Major corporations would get forensic accountants for fraud checkups. Not only that they can get jobs working with the FBI and the IRS. Tell me that isn’t cool?!

I remember watching a film called “Catch Me If You Can”, and I thought that movie was fantastic. How a man can fool so many people and didn’t get caught; at the end of the movie he eventually did, but ended up working with the FBI in the fraud department. I know it’s a strange way to become encouraged and influenced; call me crazy but after seeing this movie I thought it would be superb to work with the department of fraud.

            I would fit perfect in this field.  It has everything that I am looking for in my career; a little bit of investigation and a little bit of numbers. To think beyond what others can capture would be great. I will work so hard at my job because it will be a passion that I enjoy. And when I want something I’ll stop at nothing until I get it. And on top of that who knows, maybe I’ll end up working for the FBI or IRS. =)
